After failing to get money for attending Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s public meeting on Thursday, people are staging a sit-in protest at the main road outside the public meeting venue in Khammam.
Local leaders, reportedly, mobilised the crowd for KCR’s public meeting and promised the people money for attending the meeting. However, they didn’t keep their promise.
Enraged over not getting money as promised by the local leaders, around 100 people gathered outside the public meeting venue to protest.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao held a public meeting on Thursday to convince people to elect all the 16 candidates of Telangana Rashtra Samithi in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
In the public gathering, Rao also criticised Prime Minister Modi of being a failure.
